A large-scale fire broke out again last night in Russia’s Krasnodar region following an attack by unidentified drones. This time, an oil depot caught fire, according to OSINT sources.
Footage of the oil depot struck by drones, published online, shows a massive fire and thick smoke. The region’s governor, Veniamin Kondratyev, has not yet confirmed the incident, and local public groups have not posted about it either.

In Tuapse, Russia, explosions have been heard repeatedly due to drone attacks on fuel and military infrastructure facilities. One of the main targets has been the oil refinery complex and the port, which are crucial for supplying the Russian army with fuel.
For example, the export-oriented oil refinery in Tuapse suspended operations indefinitely following an attack on April 16.
Large-scale fires broke out in the city after the strikes, and Russian authorities temporarily restricted the operations of businesses and transportation. The Ukrainian side does not always officially comment on such attacks, but has previously stated that it has struck facilities serving the needs of the Russian military machine.
The Tuapse oil refinery has the capacity to process about 12 million tons of oil per year, or 240,000 barrels per day. The plant produces gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, and vacuum gas oil, with the majority of its output intended exclusively for export.
Russia has lost a quarter of its oil refining capacity due to drone attacks, most of which have been officially confirmed by the Ukrainian side.
