Odesa, Kharkiv and other regions hit: Consequences of night attack
In the evening of April 6, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile at Odesa, and during the night, they attacked Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions with Shahed drones. The shelling resulted in casualties and destruction.

During the preparation of the material, the following sources were used: Telegram channels of the Armed Forces of Southern Ukraine, Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Igor Terekhov, mayor of Kharkiv, Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, and the Ukrainian Air Force.
Russian attacks
During this night, Russia launched a guided aviation missile Kh-31 from the occupied Luhansk region, a ballistic missile Iskander-M from Crimea, and 17 Shahed drones from Cape Chauda (Crimea) towards Ukraine.
All 17 drones were shot down by air defense forces. The air defense worked in the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Poltava regions.
Odesa
Around 10:00 PM, the invaders fired a rocket, presumably Iskander-M, at Odesa, targeting its port infrastructure.
The impact caused a fire, which was promptly extinguished by firefighters. Administrative and technical buildings suffered damage. An employee of one of the enterprises sustained blast trauma.
At midnight, the enemy continued the terror and carried out an attack with Shahed drones in another direction.
Dnipropetrovsk region
In the region, 11 kamikaze drones were shot down during the night. Two each in Kryvyi Rih and Dniprovsky districts. Seven more in Kamianske.
In Kamianske district, several buildings and cars were damaged by falling debris.
Kharkiv
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, at 12:50 AM, Russian forces struck Kharkiv with Shahed drones, damaging a private house due to the enemy's attack. A 62-year-old man suffered shrapnel wounds.
Additionally, medical assistance was provided on-site to a 64-year-old woman and an 87-year-old man.
The administration also added that at 01:40 AM, Russians struck Shahed drones in Lozovsky and Kharkiv districts without casualties.
Zaporizhzhia
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported that Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia with a drone, injuring a 54-year-old man.
Southern Ukraine shelling
On April 6 at 9:45 PM, an air alarm was announced in southern Ukraine. The Air Force warned of the threat of ballistic armament from Crimea. Later, powerful explosions were heard in Odesa.
Closer to midnight, the Russians launched kamikaze drones towards the territory of Ukraine. The drones flew from the Zaporizhzhia direction towards the Dnipropetrovsk region.
