Ukrainian drones strike largest Druzhba oil pipeline hub in Bryansk region

Last night, Ukrainian kamikaze drones struck an oil pumping station of the Transneft Druzhba pipeline in the city of Unecha, Bryansk region, Russia, RBC-Ukraine sources and the General Staff of Ukraine report.
Ukraine's Defense Intelligence, together with units of the Defense Forces, carried out the operation.
On the night of August 13, a series of explosions occurred in the Unecha area, after which a massive fire broke out at the Unecha linear production and dispatch station. Emergency services arrived at the scene.
As the sources explained, the Unecha station is the largest hub of the Druzhba oil pipeline network, owned by the Transnefteprodukt holding, and is involved in supplying the military-industrial complex of the aggressor country. The main function of the station is to transport oil through a pipeline system with a total length of about 9,000 km.
The Ukrainian General Staff confirmed the strike on the Unecha oil pumping station in the Bryansk region.
The facility sustained damage and a large fire broke out in the area of the booster pump station building. There is also information about explosions in the area of the tank farm and the section housing the mainline and booster pumps.
The General Staff added that Unecha provides oil transportation for two pipelines simultaneously, with an annual capacity of 60 million tons of crude.
Attacks on Russia
On August 10, due to a special operation by Ukraine's Defense Intelligence, the LUKOIL-Ukhtaneftepererabotka oil refinery was attacked. This refinery is located in Russia's Komi Republic, more than 2,000 kilometers from Ukraine.
Unknown drones also attacked Russia's Saratov region. Russians reported explosions and a fire in the regional center in the area of an oil refinery.
