The number of people injured in the Russian attack on Kyiv has risen to 27. Three rescuers have been killed, Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reports.

In particular, among the injured in Kyiv are rescuers, employees of critical municipal infrastructure, and ordinary Kyiv residents.

The capital's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, clarified that three people were killed due to the enemy attack - all in the Solomianskyi district. The victims were three rescuers who came under repeated shelling.

Seventeen of the injured are currently in hospitals, while eight others are receiving outpatient treatment.

"During the attack, three ambulances that had been dispatched to emergency calls were damaged. The vehicles were hit by shrapnel and glass. The medical personnel were not harmed," Klitschko added.

Massive Russian shelling of Ukraine

On the night of June 6, Russia launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine, deploying 407 drones and 45 missiles of various types. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down most of the threats, but some did hit their targets.

In Kyiv, three rescuers were killed while working under fire to save civilians.

In Ternopil, Russian forces struck industrial and infrastructure facilities. Ten people were injured, including rescuers. The city authorities reported a deterioration in air quality, and fires are ongoing.

Lutsk, Chernihiv, Kremenchuk, as well as the Kyiv and Lviv regions also came under attack. Across Ukraine, at least three people were killed and dozens wounded.
