At the Defense Tech Innovations Forum 2025, new Ukrainian-made unmanned solutions were presented, including the Bulava strike drone, according to Army TV.

Bulava drone

The Bulava drone visually resembles the Russian Lancet. It can stay in the air for up to 50 minutes and strike targets at distances of over 50 km.

The system includes kamikaze drones, a ground control station, relays, and reconnaissance equipment, enabling autonomous combat missions.

The kamikaze drone features an X-shaped tail and is equipped with a 3.6 kg warhead (WH) of various types, most commonly a cumulative-thermobaric WH of Ukrainian production.

It can engage stationary and moving ground targets, including armored vehicles, air defense systems, and electronic warfare (EW) complexes.

According to the developer's specifications, the Bulava has a total takeoff weight of 11.5 kg. The drone is launched using a catapult and is powered by an electric engine, reaching a maximum speed of approximately 100 km/h.

With a length of 1.5 m and a wingspan of 1.6 m, it can stay airborne for up to 50 minutes, either heading towards a target or loitering. The maximum flight altitude is 2,000 meters.

Ground kamikaze drone with TM-62 mines

The ground kamikaze drone is equipped with TM-62 mines instead of wheels.

According to a soldier who presented the drone, using TM-62 mines instead of wheels is an innovative idea that compensates for their absence by utilizing the explosive material as a useful payload directly on the battlefield.

Wolly 7.62

The Wolly 7.62 is a modern remotely controlled combat module designed for combat and reconnaissance missions in challenging conditions.

Key specifications:

  • Caliber: 7.62 mm
  • Maximum engagement range: up to 1,000 meters
  • Weight: 30 kg (excluding ammunition)
  • Battery life: up to 5 days on a single charge
  • AI-powered recognition of personnel and equipment
  • Targeting modes: manual and automatic targeting
  • Communication range: up to 100 meters

Aerial drone carrier

At the Defense Tech Innovations Forum 2025, an aerial drone carrier was also showcased. Similar to an aircraft carrier, but airborne, it carries and deploys drones.

The new Ukrainian development was first showcased at the Defense Innovations Forum in Kyiv. According to the developers, the Trembita missile is capable of reaching Moscow.
