North Korea is close to developing ballistic missile capable of striking US - President of South Korea

North Korea is completing the development of an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of delivering a nuclear strike on the United States, states South Korean President Lee Jae Myung, according to Reuters.
The South Korean leader, during a meeting with investors at the New York Stock Exchange, promised to reduce risks associated with North Korea in order to attract more investment and stimulate the economy.
"Whether for negotiations with the US or for their own regime, they are continuing to develop intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of reaching the United States, carrying a nuclear bomb and bombing the United States," he said.
According to Lee Jae Myung, Pyongyang has not yet fully succeeded in developing such a missile, but the process is in its final stages. Only the so-called "re-entry technology" remains (a technology needed so that a warhead, returning from space at enormous speed, does not break apart due to heat and pressure, but retains integrity and can reach its target). However, this issue is likely to be resolved soon.
Lee Jae Myung also reiterated that US President Donald Trump is the "only" person who can be a negotiating partner for North Korea.
North Korea’s 'Secret Weapon'
Earlier, North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un stated that his country had developed a "powerful secret weapon." What exactly he meant remains unknown.
The dictator also refused any negotiations with South Korea, claiming that they supposedly "have no common interests."
In September, North Korea conducted tests of strategic and tactical drones. Kim Jong Un ordered the drones to be enhanced with AI.
