New Russian offensives coming, Zelenskyy urges allies to brief top officials

Russian forces are preparing new offensives in Ukraine to seize as much territory as possible, and partner intelligence services also see these plans, making it important that they report them to top leadership, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his evening address.

"From the intelligence we've gathered and from open-source data, we see that Putin and his inner circle are not planning to end the war — there is currently no indication that they are seriously considering peace or engaging in genuine diplomacy. On the contrary, there is a great deal of evidence that they are preparing new offensive operations. Russia is counting on continuing the war," Zelenskyy said.

According to him, this is a clear sign of Russia's disregard for everyone in the world who seeks peace and is trying to make diplomacy work.

"I'm confident that our partners' intelligence agencies also have this information and see the same facts, and it is important that they don't turn a blind eye but report it to their top leadership. The only thing needed now is completely honest conclusions and coordinated pressure on Russia," the president emphasized.

He noted that Russian strikes are becoming increasingly bold and large-scale every night.

"More than 900 attack drones against Ukraine in just three days, plus ballistic and cruise missiles — there is no military logic in this. It's a clear political decision — Putin's decision, Russia's decision — a choice to keep fighting and destroying lives," Zelenskyy stressed.

Russia's summer offensive

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently stated that Russian forces have been carrying out continuous offensive operations along all frontlines for several months. The occupiers are concentrating most of their efforts in the Sumy region.

"Their offensive actions began across all directions. The main focus was on the Sumy axis, where around 67,000 troops were concentrated. We took the necessary steps to prevent them from regrouping," Zelenskyy said.

According to him, Russian forces are now working to recover and reorganize.

The Operational Tactical Group Kharkiv also reported that Russian troops are amassing forces, and the summer offensive campaign has effectively already begun.
