President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that after the meeting in London, a new document on Ukraine had been drawn up. This document has already been handed over to US President Donald Trump.

An informed source told RBC-Ukraine what kind of document it was.

According to a source, yesterday in London, a certain document was agreed upon, which US special envoy Keith Kellogg took to Washington.

"It contains a shared vision of the Europeans, France, Britain, Germany, and Ukraine regarding the war," the source explained.

What preceded

During his visit to South Africa today, Zelenskyy stated that the new proposals following the meeting in London on April 23 are already on the desk of US President Donald Trump. He noted that any peace agreement cannot contain anything that contradicts the Constitution of Ukraine.

According to him, after the US plan (which involves the proposal to recognize Crimea and part of the occupied territories of Ukraine as Russian), other proposals emerged, and they have already been handed over to Trump.

"...I believe that today this format, this document, is on Trump's desk. Anything that contradicts our values or our Constitution cannot be part of any agreement," Zelenskyy stated.

Negotiations in London on April 23

Yesterday in London, a meeting took place between delegations from Ukraine, the UK, France, and Germany. There was also a meeting between the Ukrainian and US delegations. However, it was initially expected that the meeting would be at the ministerial level, but US Secretary of State Marco Rubio ignored it.

The meeting in London did take place, but negotiations were held at a lower level, with national security advisors participating. Additionally, the defense ministers and foreign ministers of Ukraine and the UK held bilateral meetings.

As reported by the media, Rubio boycotted the negotiations in London because Zelenskyy refused the key US proposal — to recognize Crimea as part of the Russian Federation.
