The Netherlands announced plans to provide an additional €2.5 billion in aid to support Ukraine in its war with Russia next year, states the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Hanke Bruins Slot.

"The Netherlands will continue to support Ukraine with whatever it takes and as long as it takes," she stated at the 30th meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in the capital of North Macedonia, Skopje.

The Minister mentions that the Netherlands is "pleased to announce that we will support Ukraine with an additional €2.5 billion support package for 2024."

This came after the Dutch Minister of Defense, Kajsa Ollongren, stated that military assistance would help meet Ukraine's needs for ammunition and support platforms and systems already supplied to the country.

Support from the Netherlands

The Netherlands stands as one of Ukraine's allies in its conflict against Russian aggression, providing not only military but also economic assistance.

For instance, the Netherlands recently announced the transfer of a new military aid package, including funds for demining, ammunition, and drones.
