Netflix members experienced widespread connectivity issues on TVs, with thousands of error reports indicating network connection problems. The issue began to surface on Monday and was resolved by the evening, according to Variety.
The technical difficulties started around 5:52 p.m. ET, as reported by Downdetector, an internet monitoring service, with over 17,000 error reports for Netflix by 6:22 p.m. ET.

Users faced a recurring problem where their devices, such as TVs, incorrectly showed a lack of internet connection, leading to repeated prompts for internet speed tests and router restarts. Netflix acknowledged the issue, stating that their engineers were fixing it.

This issue affected users in multiple countries, with social media posts showing the Netflix app stuck in a loop of checking network connections and broadband speeds, indicated by error code "tvq-pb-101." By around 8 p.m. ET, the problem was resolved.

While Netflix's official X account remains silent on the issue, a Netflix rep said in a statement to the media, “We’re very sorry, but we’re having unexpected technical issues with Netflix for some members. Our engineers are working to fix this as quickly as possible and will share updates.”
