Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to visit Washington next week, where he will meet with US President Donald Trump, according to the Facebook page of the Israeli Prime Minister.

According to Netanyahu, the meeting with Trump is scheduled for Tuesday, February 4.

"Prime Minister Netanyahu is the first foreign leader to be invited to the White House during US President Trump's second term," the statement clarified.

Notably, Israeli media reports that Netanyahu is continuing to recover from prostate surgery, which he underwent a month ago.

Netanyahu-Trump relations

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu maintains a good relationship with US President Donald Trump.

They have kept in regular contact since Trump won the US presidential election.

Speculation about the planned meeting between Trump and Netanyahu had surfaced in the media several days ago.
