Tomorrow, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will make a statement about North Korean troops in Russia. This will take place after a meeting with representatives of South Korea, according to the NATO press service.
NATO said in a statement that on Monday, October 28, a high-level delegation from South Korea will brief the North Atlantic Council on the deployment of DPRK troops in Russia.
Ambassadors from NATO's partner countries in the Indo-Pacific region, including Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and the Republic of Korea, have been invited to attend the event.
After the meeting, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will make a statement to the media at the entrance to the building. He will speak at 12:00 local time, and if we talk about the time in Kyiv, it will be at 13:00.
Yesterday, The New York Times wrote that 5,000 North Korean soldiers will be deployed to the Kursk region by Monday. Probably, these will be soldiers from the so-called “elite unit”.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that according to a Bloomberg article, NATO could respond to the deployment of North Korean soldiers to Russia in several ways. One of them is to increase support for Ukraine.
