Ukraine is set to receive $10 billion worth of American weapons, which will be purchased from the United States by European countries, Axios reports.

An unnamed source told Axios that the United States will sell approximately $10 billion worth of weapons to NATO countries as part of the first phase.

Ukrainian forces are expected to receive American-made missiles, air defense systems, and artillery shells.

Meanwhile, two other unnamed sources told Axios that the weapons supply plan includes long-range missiles capable of striking deep inside Russian territory.

Aid to Ukraine

US President Donald Trump previously stated that he had reached an agreement with Secretary General Mark Rutte on a new framework for supplying weapons to Ukraine.

According to Trump, European countries will now purchase weapons from the United States and then transfer them to Ukraine.

Under this arrangement, Ukraine is expected to receive additional Patriot systems, which are essential for intercepting Russian ballistic missiles.

Additionally, according to CNN, Ukrainian forces will be provided with short-range missiles, artillery shells, and medium-range missiles.
