NATO countries to build 'drone wall' to protect from Russian aggression - The Telegraph
Some NATO countries in Europe have agreed to build a "drone wall" along their borders. This is necessary to protect against Russian aggression and potential provocations, according to The Telegraph.
Norway, Poland, and Finland will work with the three Baltic countries - Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
"This is a completely new thing. A drone border from Norway to Poland," says Lithuanian Interior Minister Agne Bilotaite.
According to her, "this will allow us to protect ourselves from provocations by unfriendly countries."
The authorities of the EU countries bordering Russia are increasingly concerned about the security of their borders. In particular, Finland has closed checkpoints on its border with Russia and tightened control over migrants.
The other day, Russia removed about 20 buoys installed in Estonian waters by the Estonian Border Guard to mark the fairway. The day before, a document appeared on the Russian government's website, according to which the country wanted to push back the borders of Lithuania and Finland in the Baltic Sea. The document later disappeared from the website.
