NATO chief Rutte to visit UK for Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will visit the United Kingdom on Tuesday, September 9. There he will take part in a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format, Sky News reports.
According to NATO's press service, during his visit to London, Rutte will hold a number of bilateral meetings.
The NATO Secretary General will also take part in the meeting of the Ramstein format.
Ukraine Defense Contact Group
As reported by the German Ministry of Defense, the next 30th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format will be held on September 9 in London. Later, this was confirmed by UK Defense Secretary John Healey during his visit to Kyiv.
According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukraine expects to receive significant reinforcement of air defense at the anniversary meeting in the Ramstein format to protect the sky from Russian attacks.
The previous meeting in the Ramstein format took place on July 21. At that time, Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that Ukraine needed 6 billion dollars to close the procurement gap this year.
