More than three countries ready to send troops to Ukraine, says Head of Zelenkyy’s Office

Several countries are ready to deploy their troops to Ukraine, but final decisions need to be coordinated with the United States to maintain unity on the front and establish common rules of combat, Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine Andriy Yermak says in interview with Corriere della Sera.
When asked whether Germany, the United Kingdom, and France could already send troops to Ukraine, Yermak confirmed that some allies are prepared to take such a step.
“I can confirm that more than three countries are ready to send soldiers, but I do not want to name specific states, although some of those you mentioned are indeed among them. All of this must be coordinated with the United States to maintain the unity of our front and develop common rules of combat. We will definitely have allied forces on our soil,” Yermak said.
Responding to a question about the number of foreign troops, the Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine explained that an assessment of needs is currently underway.
“We have a long border with Russia, and our commanders are analyzing the size of foreign contingents required to secure it. We need to define the nature of their mandate, deployment methods, prerogatives, and mission boundaries,” Yermak added.
