Russia strikes at a neighborhood in Kryvyi Rih
On Friday evening, April 4, the Russian army launched a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih. The enemy shelling killed 16 people, including six children. More than 40 others were injured.
The Russians fired a ballistic missile at the center of a residential neighborhood in the city. The strike damaged high-rise buildings and started a fire.
The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation on the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenko, said that the Russians hit Kryvyi Rih with an Iskander ballistic missile.
Meeting of the Coalition of the Willing
Yesterday, April 4, a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing took place in Kyiv.
“I would like to thank the leadership of the UK and France. We had a serious constructive conversation, and at first we worked in depth, in great detail,” said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“This is not the first meeting, but it seems to me that this fundamental one is one of the first. It is important that we will work in a permanent format, now and with appropriate results. I cannot disclose many details, this is just the beginning, but the deepest beginning of this work,” the president added.
He also said that the coalition includes not only France and the United Kingdom, but also many other countries. Negotiations on the deployment of foreign troops in Ukraine will continue for another month.

On a plane en route from Washington to Miami, he told reporters there has already been significant progress in talks on Ukraine. Trump also said that Europe has not been able to achieve positive results in dealing with Putin.
“I think he's ready to make a deal,” Trump said, referring to Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He clarified that he had spoken with him “not too long ago.”
“And I think that President Putin is ready to make a deal,” Trump added.
Rutte says Ukraine will join NATO, but not as part of peace deal with Russia
After the ministerial meeting of NATO, Secretary General Mark Rutte told reporters that despite all political statements, the decision to join the Alliance as part of the truce talks with Russia remains unchanged.
“We decided in Washington that the path of Ukraine into NATO is irreversible. We are building the bridge by everything we're doing with Ukraine, getting Ukraine as interoperable as possible with NATO. But it was never promised to Ukraine that NATO membership would be part of a peace deal. I mean, that is also true,” he said.
