Kryvyi Rih attacked by drones after ballistic missile strike: Fires in the city

Kryvyi Rih is under attack by Russian Shahed drones just hours after a ballistic missile strike. Explosions are being heard in the city, according to the Telegram channel of the head of the city’s military administration, Oleksandr Vilkul.
“Explosions in the city. A massive Shahed drone attack. Take care of yourselves,” Vilkul wrote.
Local Telegram channels report around 10 explosions.
According to Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, a fire broke out in a residential area as a result of the drone attack.
“Buildings and infrastructure are engulfed in flames. We are clarifying the details,” he said, sharing photos.

Vilkul informed that fires have been recorded at four impact sites of the Shaheds. An emergency rescue operation has now begun.
Kryvyi Rih struck by ballistic missile
Earlier in the evening, the Russian forces reportedly launched an Iskander ballistic missile at Kryvyi Rih. It hit a street near a children’s playground, damaging a restaurant, nearly thirty residential buildings, garages, and destroying several cars.
Currently, 16 people are confirmed dead, including six children. According to the latest information, more than 40 people were injured, and over 30 have been hospitalized. Some patients are in serious or critical condition.
