Russia's Krasnodar Krai was hit by drones, with preliminary reports indicating damage to the Tikhoretsk oil hub. There were also missile strikes on Belgorod and the Belgorod district, damaging energy infrastructure, according to OSINT channels.
Belgorod under attack
The missile strikes on Belgorod and the Belgorod region were confirmed by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, who reported serious damage to energy facilities.
"As a result, there are disruptions in electricity, water, and heating supply. We will be able to assess the full scale of the damage during daylight hours," he wrote.
It is also reported that a fire broke out on the territory of one facility in Belgorod, and EMERCOM personnel were dispatched to the scene. In addition, the glazing of a multi-apartment building was damaged.
All emergency services are on site. Information about other consequences is being clarified.
Krasnodar Krai
In Krasnodar Krai, a drone attack occurred. The Tikhoretsk oil hub was damaged, confirmed by the operational headquarters. The cause was reportedly debris from a downed drone falling onto the oil base. Photos circulated online showing a large column of smoke and a bright orange glow in the sky.
Crimea also under attack
In addition to events directly in Russia, information has emerged about a drone attack in occupied Simferopol, where the Tavriyskaya thermal power plant was hit.
Recall that on March 12 this year, drones also struck the Tikhoretsk pumping station in Krasnodar Krai, just like today. The attack caused a large-scale fire.
It should be noted that Belgorod in Russia is one of the most frequently targeted cities by drones. RBC-Ukraine reported at the end of February that previous drone strikes had left the city and parts of the region without electricity, heating, and water.
