Drones attack Afipsky refinery: Fire erupts in area

Unidentified drones attacked the Krasnodar Krai of Russia overnight. The Afipsky oil refinery was hit, where a fire broke out, according to Russian media.
Residents of the Krasnodar Krai reported dozens of explosions that began around one in the morning and are continuing now. Sirens are also wailing in the region, and air defense systems are active.
According to official data from the Krasnodar region operational headquarters, the oil refinery was damaged, allegedly by drone debris. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.
"Technical installations have caught fire. Operational and special services are working on site. They are taking measures to extinguish the fire," wrote one of the Krasnodar and regional public pages.
On another resource, there is a clarification that the AT-22/4 unit was hit at the oil refinery. The unit is considered a key node of the enterprise, where the oil refining process begins.
Previous attacks on the Krasnodar Krai
As is well known, the Krasnodar region of Russia has been attacked by drones from time to time. For example, recently, on March 8, drones attacked an oil pumping station in the Krasnodar region.
The Afipsky oil refinery has also been shelled by drones on more than one occasion. RBC-Ukraine reported on the latest attack on this refinery in January of this year. A fire also broke out at the plant then.
Also in January, a port in the Krasnodar Krai was hit. Official reports indicated casualties and injuries as a result of the shelling.
