Russia’s Krasnodar Krai has been under attack for the second day in a row. The strikes hit a port, according to Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratyev.

"Tonight, port terminals in the settlement of Volna in the Temryuk district were hit," he said.

Kondratyev claimed that the attack resulted in casualties and injuries. According to him, "two employees of the enterprise were killed, and several others were injured."

The Governor also added that a fire is ongoing at the terminal site, with four tanks containing petroleum products burning.

Russian authorities deployed 97 personnel and 29 pieces of equipment to deal with the aftermath.

Attack on the Afipsky oil refinery

On the night of January 21, unidentified drones attacked the Afipsky oil refinery in Russia, causing a fire on the facility’s grounds.

According to local media, the blaze broke out after drone debris fell on the refinery’s territory.

Russian reports claim that there were no casualties or damage to infrastructure, and that emergency and special services were working at the scene.

Earlier, on January 10, Russian officials also reported about missile and drone attacks on the Krasnodar Krai. The emergency plan was declared at the airports of Krasnodar and Gelendzhik.
