Missile slams into homes in Odesa region, leaving wounded

On June 12, Russian forces carried out a missile strike on the southern part of Odesa region. One of the enemy missiles hit a residential area, while another damaged solar panels at an industrial facility, according to Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper.
According to the regional governor, Russian forces carried out another strike on civilian infrastructure in the region.
"A missile hit a residential area in the south of the region," Kiper said.
As a result of the attack, three residential houses caught fire, and another three homes were damaged. According to the regional administration, two people sustained shrapnel injuries and are receiving necessary medical assistance.
Another missile strike damaged solar panels on the territory of an enterprise; no casualties were reported in that case, Kiper added.

Emergency services, including rescuers and medics, are currently working at the scene. Information on the consequences of the attack and the number of victims is being clarified.

June 12 attack on Ukraine
As a reminder, overnight Russia attacked railway infrastructure in the Sumy region with Shahed drones, targeting stations, train terminals, signaling posts, and substations. An employee of Ukrzaliznytsia was killed.
According to the Air Force, Russia launched a total of 117 attack drones against Ukraine. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the enemy UAVs, but some strikes still occurred.
Later in the day, a Russian drone hit a Nova Poshta terminal in Zaporizhzhia, causing a large fire.
