Missile debris falls in two districts of Kyiv due to attack
In Kyiv, missile debris has been reported to have fallen in the Solomyanskyi and Holosiivskyi districts as a result of Russian shelling. Initial reports indicate no casualties or damage, according to Mayor Vitalii Klychko.
"According to preliminary information, a missile fragment fell in the Solomyanskyi district of the city. All services are on their way to the site," Klychko wrote.
The Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) added that, according to preliminary data, there were no casualties or damages.
At this time, no further details have been disclosed.
Not just in Solomyanskyi district
The KCSA also reported that debris falling in the Holosiivskyi district has been recorded.
Kyiv under attack
On October 7, at 8:26 AM Kyiv time, an air raid warning was issued across Ukraine. The Ukrainian Air Force warned of the takeoff of a MiG-31K and later reported high-speed targets heading towards Kyiv and Starokostiantyniv. Shortly afterward, an explosion was heard in the capital, and the KCSA warned of the operation of air defense systems.
