At present, there is only one threat in Ukraine that could lead to a systemic accident. Predicting this threat and its scale is challenging, as reported by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Halushchenko, citing a national telethon.

"In reality, the only threat to a systemic accident is attacks by the Russians. Predicting the level of attacks and when they will occur is difficult. I already have many questions because, to be frank, I expected a different situation today," explained Halushchenko.

At the same time, the minister noted that there are currently no prerequisites for blackouts.

"Moreover, even if there is a critical impact due to attacks on the energy system, blackouts may occur but will have a temporary nature," he emphasized.

Recently, the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Halushchenko, stated that in case of attacks by Russian occupiers on energy facilities during this fall-winter period, power outages are possible in the country. However, such blackouts will not be prolonged.
