Russian military likely executed Ukrainian prisoners of war again. Ukraine has appealed to international organizations, states the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhii Tykhyi, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

"A video of yet another brutal execution of unarmed Ukrainian prisoners of war by Russian occupiers is spreading online," noted the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He stated that under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General, a pre-trial investigation has already been launched into this war crime.

Additionally, according to Tykhyi, Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets has sent information about this crime to the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

"As a foreign affairs agency, we have already shared information about this latest atrocity with our partners and key international organizations. This execution is a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, the Geneva Conventions, and the laws and customs of war," he emphasized.

Earlier today, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, reported that Russian forces executed six Ukrainian prisoners of war.

The United Nations Security Council recently held a meeting regarding Russia's crimes against Ukrainian prisoners of war and the civilian population.
