Samsung is preparing to launch Galaxy Glasses — smart glasses powered by Android XR. Insiders claim that Gemini AI in the device will work in real time during visual activity, according to Android Headlines.

Jinju and Haean versions

According to leaks, Samsung is developing two glasses models. They are expected to launch one year apart.

Galaxy Glasses (Jinju). A base model without a built-in display, focused on audio features, photography, and AI interaction.

Release is planned for late 2026. Price: $379 to $499.

Premium Model (Haean). An advanced version with a micro-LED display. This model will allow users to see app interfaces directly in front of their eyes.

The gadget is expected to launch in 2027. Price: $600 to $900.

  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1
  • Camera: 12 MP Sony (IMX681)
  • Battery: 155 mAh

The official announcement of Galaxy Glasses is expected at the summer Galaxy Unpacked conference, which, according to sources, will take place on July 22, 2026, in London.

The glasses will be presented alongside the new foldable smartphones, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and the Galaxy Watch 9 smartwatch.

On the market, the new product will compete with Ray-Ban Meta, which has already sold several million units. Samsung aims to gain an advantage over Zuckerberg’s device through deeper integration with Google services and more powerful AI.
