Meloni calls for equal determination on Ukraine, Gaza and Iran

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni spoke following the NATO summit, calling for the same resolve shown toward Iran to be applied to Kyiv as well, she said after the summit.
Meloni noted that the resolve demonstrated in response to the crisis in Iran must now also be shown toward Ukraine and Gaza.
"I told President Donald Trump and said at the summit that the same determination used on the war between Israel and Iran must also be used for two other ceasefires, for Ukraine and for Gaza," she stated.
NATO summit in The Hague
The annual NATO summit took place in The Hague on June 24–25. The main topic of discussion was increasing defense spending, specifically aiming to set it at 5% of GDP by 2035. However, the allies also addressed the ongoing war in Ukraine.
On the sidelines of the summit, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump held a meeting. RBC-Ukraine gathered details of their conversation.

Interestingly, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte compared US President Donald Trump to a "dad" during their personal meeting — a gesture the American leader acknowledged and responded to.
Meanwhile, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that Russia is stalling in order to avoid ending the war in Ukraine and urged for increased pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin.
