Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is expected to visit Greece as early as the end of this week, Kathimerini reports.

The outlet states that Zelenskyy will visit Greece on Sunday, November 16.

The program of his visit is being constantly adjusted for security reasons.

According to Kathimerini, Zelenskyy is expected to meet with President Konstantinos Tasoulas, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and Parliament Speaker Nikitas Kaklamanis.

Zelenskyy has previously visited Greece since the full-scale war began. He traveled there in August 2023 for the Ukraine-Balkans summit.

Announcement of Zelenskyy’s visit

On November 5, Greek Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lana Zohiou said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy plans to visit Greece in November.

At that time, no specific date or program had been confirmed. Ukrainian officials had not yet verified this information.

For security reasons, visits by the Ukrainian President to other countries are usually not announced in advance.

Earlier, in June, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said that Odesa could become part of a major transport project connecting Greece, Romania, and Ukraine.

According to Mitsotakis, the new corridor would start at the Greek port of Alexandroupolis, pass through Constanța in Romania, and end in Odesa. He emphasized that the project would significantly speed up the delivery of Ukrainian goods by sea.
