"He lied to everyone about being clean. He never was. It is very sad. You know, the biggest lie he told was probably to himself. He could be quite a manipulative person when it came to his struggles with using, but it was such a struggle, such a battle, and he battled every day to the end," noted a close friend of the actor.
54-year-old Matthew Perry was found dead on October 28 in his own home in the jacuzzi.
Recently, it became known that the star of Friends died as a result of the "acute influence of ketamine" and subsequent drowning.

People close to the man told investigators that he was undergoing a course of ketamine infusion therapy, considered an experimental method for treating depression and anxiety.
However, the forensic expert reported that the level of ketamine in Perry's body was within the normal range, typically administered for general anesthesia during surgery. He also mentioned that Perry's last treatment session with this drug, which occurred one and a half weeks before his death, does not explain such a high level.
