Trump deploys two nuclear submarines in response to Medvedev’s nuclear threats

US President Donald Trump has ordered two nuclear submarines to be deployed in response to threats from the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, according to Trump's post on Truth Social.
"I have ordered two nuclear submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that. Words are very important and can often lead to unintended consequences. I hope this will not be one of those instances," Trump noted.
Medvedev’s threats
Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev earlier reacted harshly to US President Donald Trump’s ultimatum to Russia regarding secondary tariffs.
The controversial politician claimed that every ultimatum from the American leader is "a step towards war" between Russia and the United States.
In response, Trump emphasized that Medvedev should watch his words, warning that he is "entering very dangerous territory."
For his part, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio noted that nuclear war between the US and Russia is a "fathomable thing." At the same time, he stressed that without the use of nuclear weapons, Russia stands no chance against the United States.
