On the night of July 31, Russians carried out a massive attack on the Kyiv region using a Kh-59 guided aerial missile and 89 Shahed strike drones, reports the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk.

Mobile fire groups from all branches of Ukraine’s defense forces, tactical aviation of the Air Force, army aviation of the Ground Forces, anti-aircraft missile units, and electronic warfare units of the Air Force were involved in the defense.
A guided Kh-59 aerial missile, which the enemy used to attack the Mykolaiv region, was also shot down.
