As a result of Russia's attack on Kyiv, 14 people were injured. Two of them remain in hospital, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko on Telegram.

"Three people were hospitalized last night in the capital. Two of them are still in inpatient care. In total, 14 Kyiv residents were injured. The incidents occurred in the Dniprovskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, and Obolonskyi districts," the statement said.

According to Klitschko, out of the 14 injured, medical teams treated 11 people at the scene.

It is worth noting that police report 15 people were injured in Kyiv. One person was hurt in the Holosiivskyi district, seven in Solomianskyi, and a married couple in Dniprovskyi. In Obolonskyi district, five injuries have been confirmed.

Massive attack on Kyiv

During the night of May 24, Russia launched one of its most powerful combined attacks on Kyiv, using both ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones simultaneously.

According to the Air Force, a total of 14 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 250 attack UAVs were launched across Ukraine. Air defenses shot down six missiles and neutralized 245 drones. According to Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat, nine of the missiles were specifically targeting the capital.

Debris from intercepted aerial targets fell in six districts of Kyiv. In the Obolonskyi district, a residential building and the Blockbuster Mall shopping center sustained damage.
