A fire broke out at a market in the village of Velykyi Burluk, Kharkiv region, after a Russian drone attack using a Shahed-type strike UAV, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS).

"Rescuers extinguished the fire at the market caused by the enemy drone attack. On the evening of July 22, the Russian army struck the market area in the village of Velykyi Burluk, Kupiansk district, using unmanned aerial vehicles," the DSNS stated.

According to the emergency service, the fire covered an area of approximately 500 square meters in the trading pavilion zone. The blaze was successfully extinguished.

"In addition, a post office building and other commercial facilities were damaged. A woman was injured - medical personnel diagnosed her with an acute stress reaction," the DSNS added, releasing photos of the aftermath.

Russian attack on Ukraine on July 23

Russia once again launched Shahed-type strike drones at Ukraine. A series of explosions was reported in Kryvyi Rih, followed by the outbreak of fires.

Russia also struck the Sumy region. Part of the city of Sumy was left without power, and medical facilities were switched to backup generators.

Moreover, the Shaheds targeted residential areas and businesses in Kryvyi Rih, sparking fires and causing destruction.
