Explosions heard in Kryvyi Rih amid Shahed drone raid

A series of explosions were heard in Kryvyi Rih during the night of July 23 amid a Russian strike drone attack involving Shahed UAVs, according to a statement by Oleksandr Vilkul.
"Kryvyi Rih. Explosions. Massive Shahed drone raid. Do not film or post anything online," Vilkul wrote.
He added that many Shahed strike drones were still active in the airspace and urged residents to take care of themselves and their loved ones.
Shortly before the explosions in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine’s Air Force had warned residents of an incoming strike drone threat.
After midnight, Shahed drones were detected over Chernihiv, Poltava, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy regions.
July 21 attack on Ukraine
During the night of July 21, Russia launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine, deploying Shahed drones, Kalibr cruise missiles, Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, and missiles launched from Tu-95 bombers.
In Kyiv, explosions were heard within the first few hours of the attack. A fire broke out on the roof of a building in the Darnytskyi district.
Kharkiv was also targeted, resulting in fires and damage to roads, tram tracks, and electrical infrastructure.
Additionally, Russian forces scrambled MiG-31 jets, known carriers of Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, three times during the night.
