Macron informs Zelenskyy about new agreements regarding Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with President of France Emmanuel Macron. The French leader informed about new agreements with partners regarding security guarantees for Ukraine, according to the president's evening address.
As Zelenskyy stated, today he had a conversation with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte “about what has already happened and what may happen in the near future.”
"I spoke with US Senator Lindsey Graham – a very constructive person. I thank everyone in the US for the bipartisan support. We agreed to continue working together," the president added.
Zelenskyy also spoke about his conversation with the President of France.
"Emmanuel informed me about his new contacts and new agreements with partners. It is very important to prepare reliable security guarantees. This is a joint effort by partners, and we highly appreciate the activity of each leader," the head of state noted.
Meeting of European leaders in Paris
On February 17, French President Emmanuel Macron gathered leaders of several European countries in Paris for an "emergency summit" to discuss European security issues. One of the main reasons for the meeting was the policy of newly elected US President Donald Trump.
One of the key topics of the Paris summit was further support for Ukraine in its war against Russia.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a "lengthy conversation" with Macron after the European leaders' summit in Paris. The two leaders coordinated their positions on security guarantees for Ukraine.
The following day, Macron held talks with both Zelenskyy and Trump.
Additionally, it became known that France intended to hold a new summit on Ukraine and European security, which took place today, February 19.
