Lukashenko seeks military cooperation with Iran

Belarus plans to deepen cooperation with Iran in all areas, including the military, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said during talks with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, BelTA reports.
"You have been and remain our friends. We strive to fulfill all our obligations that we have undertaken before Iran. I want you to understand that you have come to your friends, and you can and should feel here as friends," Lukashenko told the President of Iran.
The Belarusian president "conveyed greetings" to the spiritual leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and recalled his previous visits to the country.

Military exercises of Belarus and Russia
From September 12 to 16, 2025, joint military exercises of Russia and Belarus, Zapad-2025, will take place. It is expected that more than 13,000 servicemen will participate in the maneuvers.
