Local authorities report on consequences of strike on Zaporizhzhia
As a result of a Russian airstrike on Zaporizhzhia, residential buildings in the city's private sector caught fire. The number of injured has risen to five, including a child, according to the police of the Zaporizhzhia region and the Zaporizhzhia City Council Secretary Regina Kharchenko.
The police reported that between 10:30 PM and 11:00 PM on September 23, the Russian army launched a series of strikes on Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region. The type of munitions used is currently being determined.
Preliminary assessments indicate that the strikes hit civilian infrastructure. Residential buildings and outbuildings in the private sector caught fire. The police report one man killed and three people injured, including a child.
Zaporizhzhia City Council Secretary Regina Kharchenko mentioned that there are five injured in total, among whom is a 13-year-old girl.

On the evening of September 23, Russian forces launched an air attack on Zaporizhzhia.
The previous airstrike on the city occurred on September 22 around 11:00 PM, damaging 13 apartment buildings, educational institutions, private homes, garages, and vehicles. A total of 22 people were injured, including two children.
