Lithuania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs comments on Ukraine's strikes on Russian targets in Belarus
Ukraine should be able to strike at Russian targets if the enemy moves them to Belarus, according to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis.
“I mean, Ukraine should be able to defend itself. If Russia, fearing that the targets may be shelled in Russia, can move them somewhere else, then I believe that the choice of targets should also be shifted,” the Minister said.
Strikes on Russian territory
Since the beginning of the full-scale war with the Russian Federation, Ukraine's partners have been providing Kyiv with humanitarian, financial, and military assistance. The latter was provided on the condition that no weapons would be used against Russian territory. Recently, more and more allies have begun reconsidering their decision, but some continue to insist on their position.
