Who else can join the coalition
The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense reports that a detailed concept of the Ukrainian demining coalition will be presented in December of this year.
Denmark, Slovenia, Spain, Belgium, France, Italy, Portugal, Moldova, Slovakia, and Sweden are planning to join the coalition.
Among the countries under consideration are Poland, Iceland, Japan, South Korea. During the meeting, it was also emphasized that Lithuania has joined the IT coalition led by Estonia and Luxembourg, aimed at strengthening Ukraine's cyber capabilities.
Demining in Ukraine
Due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine and active hostilities, our country is contaminated with explosive objects. Some analysts call Ukraine the most mined country in the world.
Therefore, Ukraine is launching a new state policy on humanitarian demining and calls on other countries to assist in this area.
Ukraine's Prime Minister, Denys Shmyhal, has announced that companies can receive full or partial compensation for expenses when ordering demining services through Prozorro.
