Ukraine needs to be provided with support and modern weapons. It is also necessary to lift the restrictions on the use of this weaponry, Gitanas Nausėda, President of Lithuania, states during the plenary session of the "Support Ukraine" event.

According to the President of Lithuania, recent events have brought more concern than clarity. However, it is essential not to be discouraged but to find ways to act in such a situation.

"I would like to present my proposals for all the leaders of countries that support Ukraine. First, we must urgently provide Ukraine with modern weapons according to its needs, including air defense systems and long-range strike capabilities," Nausėda said.

The President of Lithuania also believes that it is necessary to ensure there are no restrictions on the use of this weaponry.

"Lithuania will provide additional support systems. As we agreed further, we must invest in Ukraine's military industry and military-industrial complex, and we must do more," Nausėda added.

In his opinion, it is crucial to ensure joint production with Ukraine, as the technological potential of Ukraine is extremely significant. This will provide additional military capabilities, particularly in increasing military production.

"We need to expand training programs for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, strengthen their military readiness, combat effectiveness, and further integration with NATO forces," the President of Lithuania emphasized.
