Germany's assistance to Ukraine

In August, the media reported that, under the directive of Chancellor Olaf Scholz, new requests for funding assistance to Ukraine would not be approved. However, approximately 8 billion euros have been allocated in Germany for military support to Ukraine in 2024.

At the same time, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that the German government would be able to find additional resources to continue supplying weapons to Ukraine in 2024.
