As a result of the massive overnight attack on Kyiv, one person was killed. The body was recovered in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the capital, according to a statement by Kyiv City Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko.

He reported that, according to updated information, a fatality was confirmed at one of the locations in the Sviatoshynskyi district. Tkachenko specified that the recovered body is preliminarily male.

So far, the strike on the capital has resulted in one death and seven injuries, including one child.

What is known about the overnight Russian strike

In Kyiv and the Kyiv region, an air raid alert was declared around 23:00. Explosions were heard in the capital around midnight. Later, ballistic missiles were added to the drone attacks.

Six people were reported injured - three of them, including a 13-year-old child, were hospitalized, while the others received medical assistance on-site.

At least six locations in different districts of the city sustained damage.

In Brovary, a Russian strike damaged a multi-story building and a private house. Three people were reported injured, with one of them hospitalized.

Additionally, the Russian army struck the Kharkiv region with guided aerial bombs around 20:30 Kyiv time; the first explosions were heard in Kharkiv. Energy infrastructure in the region was targeted, which may cause sharp voltage fluctuations for household consumers.

On the evening of November 28, a large-scale air raid alert was declared in Ukraine due to the takeoff of MiG-31K jets armed with Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles.
