Kyiv region townhouses destroyed in Russian strike

On Tuesday evening, September 1, Russian units attacked Vyshneve in the Kyiv region with drones. As a result of the enemy attack, two townhouses were destroyed in the city, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine's Telegram channel.
"As a result of an enemy attack with an attack UAV in Vyshneve, Bucha Raion, structural damage occurred and a fire broke out in two townhouses," the statement read.
After the attack, emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene, conducted reconnaissance, and extinguished the fire. They are currently clearing debris.
"Emergency responders are continuing work at the scene - clearing debris and inspecting destroyed structures. No fatalities have been detected preliminarily. Information about casualties is being clarified," the statement said.

Attacks on the Kyiv region
On the evening of September 1, Russians also attacked the Brovary district. As a result of the attack, a private house and warehouse facilities were damaged, and fires broke out.
On the morning of September 1, Kyiv came under drone strikes. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on the upper floors of a 16-story building in the Podilskyi district.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that, according to Anton Zemlianyi, a senior analyst at the Ukrainian Center for Security and Cooperation, the tactic of constant attacks on Kyiv and the surrounding region could last at least until the Russian State Duma elections. He also warned of the risk of strikes on western regions.
