In the Kyiv region, fires broke out and residential buildings were damaged as a result of a Russian Shahed drone attack, according to the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.

He noted that the consequences of the enemy attack are currently being recorded in four districts of the region.

In the Bucha district, a fire broke out in a non-residential building, private houses, and two cars.

In Fastiv district, a private house caught fire.

In the Bila Tserkva district, private houses and non-residential buildings were set ablaze.

In the Obukhiv district, debris from a downed target caused a fire in a utility building.

Kalashnyk noted that all emergency services are involved in managing the aftermath.

Russia massively attacks Ukraine from the air

Russian forces launched a large number of strike drones across Ukraine during the night of September 28.

In Kyiv, explosions were heard twice overnight as air defense forces engaged enemy drones.

In the capital, a five-story residential building was partially destroyed, and drone debris fell in several districts.
