In Kyiv, the number of injured has risen again after the overnight combined Russian strike, and people may be trapped under the rubble in the Desnianskyi district, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and Kyiv City Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko.

"In many districts of the capital, residential buildings were damaged as a result of the massive attack. In several districts, medical facilities and non-residential buildings were damaged. Debris was also burning on the territory of one of the educational institutions," Klitschko said.

According to him, rescuers are still extinguishing a fire and clearing the rubble in a building in the Desnianskyi district. According to law enforcement, four people were killed there. But there may still be people under the rubble. The search operation continues.

"Twenty-nine city residents were injured. Among them are two children aged 7 and 10. Nine people have been hospitalized, including a pregnant woman," the mayor added.

He also emphasized that support centers for affected residents have been deployed in the Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Obolonskyi, Podilskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts.

"According to updated data, the number of people injured in the enemy attack has risen to 30. Medical teams are providing the necessary assistance," Tkachenko added.

Massive strike on Ukraine on November 14

Russia carried out a massive strike on several regions of Ukraine during the night of November 14. The main vector of the combined attack was the capital.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian forces used 449 air-attack assets — 19 missiles and 430 drones of various types.

As of the morning, 29 people were reported injured and four killed in Kyiv as a result of the massive overnight attack.

Russian forces launched missile and drone strikes on energy infrastructure during the night. As a result of the attack, a significant number of consumers in Donetsk, Kyiv, and Odesa regions have been left without power.
