Russian forces attacked a residential building in Kyiv twice during the night of January 9. During the second strike, a medic was killed, and other medical workers were injured, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko’s Telegram.

According to the mayor, the second strike occurred in the Darnytskyi district.

“In the Darnytskyi district, where a UAV hit a residential building, there was a subsequent strike. One medic was killed, and other medical workers were injured. All of them had arrived to provide assistance to people,” the statement said.

Massive attack on Kyiv

Last night, from January 8 to 9, Russian forces carried out a massive attack on the capital with drones and missiles.

At present, it is known that in several districts, residential buildings have already been damaged or partially destroyed, fires have broken out, cars are burning, and other consequences are being recorded.

Local authorities also reported that, at the time of this news, at least three people had been killed and six injured in the capital.
