Attack on Kyiv
Russia has waged a full-scale war against Ukraine for more than three years, striking cities and villages across the country daily.
Last night was no exception. After several weeks of relative calm in the capital, Russian troops carried out one of the largest attacks on Kyiv, using a significant number of missiles and strike drones.
In the Darnytskyi district of the capital, an enemy missile hit a five-story residential building, completely destroying one of its entrances. Preliminary reports indicate that the enemy target struck around the third–fourth floor, causing extensive damage.
RBC-Ukraine has already prepared a report from Kyiv about the aftermath of the attack.
Due to the strike, traffic on several key streets was temporarily blocked. Civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings, was damaged, and there are casualties.
Rescue services continue clearing debris and assisting the affected. Residents of the capital are urged to remain in shelters and follow safety rules.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed international partners, including China and Hungary, calling for a decisive response to Russia’s aggression.
