Kyiv attack aftermath: Over 20 injured, 10 more under rubble
During a massive Russian missile attack on Kyiv on December 29, a warehouse in the Podil district caught fire, according to the head of the Kyiv Military Administration, Serhii Popko.
"In the Podil district, where a warehouse fire occurred covering an area of approximately 3000 square meters, a search for victims is underway. Preliminarily, there are 10 people under the rubble. Rescuers are working," he said.
According to updated information, after the rocket strike in Kyiv, only one, not two, fatalities were found, and 21 people were injured.
Massive attack
During a massive strike on Ukraine on December 29, more than 30 aerial targets were downed over Kyiv by air defense forces.
According to the Kyiv Military Administration, the air raid was announced three times in Kyiv and lasted nearly 5 hours in total. During the last alert, the capital was targeted by dozens of missiles of various types, coming in waves from different directions.
Fires broke out in several areas of Kyiv. The consequences are being addressed.
As President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported, during the morning attack on Ukraine, Russia lauched about 110 missiles of various types.
