In Kyiv, as a result of the massive aerial attack by Russian forces last night, the number of injured has risen to 11. The city has updated information regarding the consequences of the drone and missile strikes, according to the Telegram channel of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

It is noted that as a result of the enemy attack on civilian infrastructure in the city of Kyiv, fires and destruction were recorded in three districts. Namely:

Holosiivskyi district

There, damage to a dormitory was recorded, and a fire broke out, which has already been extinguished. In addition, there are reports of debris from downed enemy drones falling in several locations.

Dniprovskyi district

In this district, damage was recorded on the second floor of a private residential building. The Kyiv City Military Administration clarified that there was no fire at the site.

Shevchenkivskyi district

According to the administration, a business center was damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

Casualty report

"As of 04:00, 11 injured people aged between 18 and 62 have been confirmed. Information is being updated," the Kyiv City Military Administration reported.

Enemy attack continues

The administration also warned the residents of the capital that the Russian air assault is still ongoing. In the airspace approaching Kyiv, Shahed drones have been detected, and air defense systems may be active.

"We urge everyone to stay in shelters until the all-clear is given!" the Kyiv City Military Administration added.

Massive drone and missile attack on the night of May 25

It was previously reported that on this night, Russian forces once again launched a combined air attack on Ukraine, similar to the previous day. On the evening of May 24, the enemy deployed several groups of kamikaze drones, which triggered air raid alerts across multiple regions of Ukraine. Air defense systems were active in Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Explosions were heard overnight in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, as well as reports of blasts in Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Ternopil regions. Air defense operations were ongoing in these areas.

Later during the night, Russian forces launched missiles from strategic aviation targeting Ukraine. There were also reports of cruise missile launches of the Kalibr type from the Black Sea.
