On November 3, Russian drones attempted to attack Kyiv in groups, approaching the capital at very low altitudes. Despite this, air defense forces shot down all drones that threatened Kyiv, reports the Kyiv City Military Administration.

"Today, the enemy's armed forces once again attacked the capital of Ukraine. The weapon of terror is the same – drones. They were launched mainly from the northeastern direction," the statement said.

According to the administration, the drones approached Kyiv from various directions and again at very low altitudes.

"During the night, air raid alerts were declared twice in the city, lasting a total of five and a half hours. Defense forces neutralized all drones that threatened the capital," the administration added.

Consequences of the Russian attack

As a result of repelling the attack, debris have fallen in the Shevchenkivskyi and Holosiivskyi districts of Kyiv.

In particular, in the Shevchenkivskyi district, road surfaces, lighting supports, and electrical networks were damaged.

Windows and entrances sustained damage due to the blast wave in at least five buildings. There were no fires or casualties.

Air alerts in Kyiv and region

In Kyiv and several regions, air alerts were declared several times throughout the night. Explosions were heard in Kyiv. Air defense operated both over Kyiv and in the region.
